The sunset was amazing Sunday night at the cabin. It was so beautiful up there.

Morning Lake Glass
I’m not much of a water skier, but I wanted to wake all the slalom experts up at 5:45 am to come see the lake, It was so beautiful. Check it out. I think the best one out of the bunch was taken 10 mins earlier than all the others, and it was with my iPhone. The colors changed that quick, and I couldn’t get my professional camera quick enough, but the iPhone shot turned out pretty good.
Eating Cocoa Puffs with a View
I know I have posted a lot of stuff today on our little family getaway, but I love digitizing the world, and leaving some lasting memories. From the main room of the beach house on the second floor we have a perfect view of the ocean. Open beams with glass walls on the west and south side of the house. The house has been updated on the inside with granite slab, and tile flooring. There is some high end Wolf gas range, and sub zero fridge (which is actually not keeping the food that cold). Here are a couple of shots of the upper level.
Any yes, I did have some cocoa puffs this morning with a couple of Oreo cookies on the side. Breakfast of champions!

Boise LIghtning Storm
Rachael and I were walking on the track behind our house, and we could see that an amazing storm was brewing. It started to get close so we ran inside for cover, and I broke out the cameras. I tried to get some shots of the lightning, and some of them turned out pretty cool. Not in perfect focus, but still pretty cool. I hope you enjoy!
Downtown Boise Lights
Late in the evening when the drunks fill the streets like zombies, I journeyed up 8 floors to the top of the parking garage close to BODO. I thought the views were amazing so I set up my tripod and my old Nikon D80 with remote and started having some fun. I had a two couples come up the stairs, and they were heavily intoxicated. They first thought I was a sniper shooting people in the other buildings. They were so drunk that they were tripping over themselves. It was hard to get rid of them, but it was actually pretty funny watching them because they were so inebriated. Nothing like some breath taking views and some drunks to share it with.

Donnelly Idaho July 3rd 2010
I woke up at 5:30 am and went exploring around Donnelly. It was little early for pictures, but it was so peaceful. The mist that was hovering over the lake and some of the fields was pretty cool, but a little hard to capture with low light. I love taking these landscape photos so I can enjoy them when I am stuck on flat land with no view.
