Down on the Boise river for a Sunday evening walk. I couldn’t believe how high the river was, but it makes sense with all the precipitation we have had this year. It was an amazing day, and we miss the easy access to the green belt that we used to enjoy when we lived closer. Boys had a blast. Check out the geese and the goslings walking across the green belt.
It was Jr’s birthday today, he is now 10 years old. I can’t believe he is two digits! He got a new bike for his birthday, and he is so happy. Raymond is happy too, because he gets Jr’s old bike. Rachael and I took the puppy down to the school, and some cupcakes for JR’s class. He also did a presentation for scouts today, and he talked about poodles for his 20 minute lesson he needed for his advancements. It was a fun day for him!
We traveled to mothers house today in the far land of Wilder, where the girls are a little wilder. The boys had a great time showing off their new puppy to the cousins. Thanks Mom, we had a fantastic time!
Today was the first round of the championships for the Pal Flag football Spring Season. Jr’s team played the Packers, and they did awesome at first, but then faded. They ended up losing the game, but they have improved through out the season.
We celebrated Jr’s birthday with the Robisons along with honoring the Mothers too. JR has wanted a dog for so long, so little puppy (unnamed at this point) is partially his birthday present. He is a great kid, and is so good at taking care of the little puppy. He loves animals, and is very excited to help raise our new little poodle.
Easter egg hunt at the Robison. We had a delicious meal with Chicken cordon blue, with some amazing salads. Boys had a blast finding tons of eggs.
JR’s team finally wins! There was only one first down made in the game, and the only score was from a interception that was run in for 6 points. Great Defense, but no offense. It was good to see them finally get a win. JR was happy again, he was on a win draught
